On May 21, 2026, the University of Naples Federico II will host the second edition of Orizzonti XR Italia, a day promoted by XR Italia dedicated to the intersection of research, business, and innovation in the field of Extended Reality. The event will bring together researchers, businesses, professionals, startups, institutions, and stakeholders active in the development and application of augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, and virtual worlds technologies.
Orizzonti XR Italia was created to foster dialogue and collaboration among the key players in the Italian XR ecosystem, creating a forum for discussion and sharing projects, skills, ideas, and development opportunities. Throughout the day, the association’s activities, new initiatives, and opportunities for developing the Italian XR ecosystem will be presented. Alongside refresher courses, the event will offer networking and project matchmaking opportunities designed to connect universities, research centers, businesses, and professionals.
