Thank you for organizing this webinar, it was truly insightful and engaging. I really appreciated the opportunity to learn more about these innovators, not only in terms of what they are building but also the motivations and personal journeys that led them to work with this technology.
It was particularly inspiring to see how diverse their backgrounds are. Knowing that people come from fields ranging from the arts to the social sciences and deep tech makes the innovation landscape feel much richer and more inclusive. These different perspectives clearly bring unique value to technological development and problem-solving.
Overall, it was fantastic to hear their stories and see how varied paths can converge in such an exciting space. Thank you again for putting together such a thoughtful and inspiring session!

I had the pleasure of joining the Women in XR webinar and it truly inspired me to reflect on my own journey in the XR field.
I’ve spent many years working alongside innovators exploring immersive technologies, and I can honestly say the path has never been straightforward. When I first approached XR, it was often perceived as something playful, almost like a game or a futuristic experiment… some years ago
Very few people imagined it could become a serious professional field. Today, however, it has evolved into one of my greatest professional passions.
Part of that curiosity comes from my uncle, who is now 77 years old. He was one of those early technology enthusiasts who witnessed the birth of personal computing in the late 70s and 80s. (grateful for this ) When I was younger, he used to show me old machines, tell me stories about the first programming languages he experimented with, and explain how revolutionary those early computers felt at the time. I still remember sitting with him in his small workshop, surrounded by cables, circuit boards, and dusty monitors, listening to him say: “Technology is only limited by our imagination.”
At the time I thought it was fascinating but distant from my future. Years later, when I began working with immersive technologies, I realized those early conversations had shaped the way I look at innovation today, with curiosity, patience, and a willingness to experiment.
That’s why it was so meaningful to listen to the stories shared during the webinar.
