From the Hudson to Horizon Europe: A Call to the XR2Learn Community
This is not a simulation.
This is the real helicopter — the one recovered from the Hudson River on April 10th, 2025.
Five members of the same family from Barcelona and a young pilot lost their lives.
At Global3CCS, as part of the VRAR Industrial Coalition, we issue an urgent call to this community:
XR is not just about learning. It’s about prevention. It’s about saving lives.
We ask XR2Learn to support the launch of a European pilot program to:
• Simulate structural failure before it happens in the real world.
• Integrate transparent photonic polymer materials into XR systems.
• Train technicians, pilots, and regulators with immersive digital twins.
• Enable real-time diagnostics through extended reality platforms.
“Let the next image be a simulation — not a rescue.”
We are ready to collaborate.
This is a call to act — for those we lost, and those we can still protect.
